A UI/UX design company whose work engineering can actually build

UI/UX Design

A UI/UX design company should hand over a token set and a component library. Anything else is work engineering has to reverse-engineer.

We design in systems. A Clownmind handover is a token set, a component library and documented states — not a folder of frames that engineering has to reverse-engineer.

Research comes first and stays cheap: five moderated sessions on a clickable prototype answers more questions than a month of internal debate.

Ask about this specifically

Tell us what exists today. You will get a straight answer about approach and rough cost — from an engineer, not an account manager.

No sales sequence. One reply from a senior engineer, usually within a working day.

How we work

Four steps, and you can stop after any one

Each step gives you something you own. Nothing is held back to make you pay for the next bit.

  1. 01

    Framing week

A paid week where we map the constraints, the existing systems and what success has to look like in numbers. You keep the output whether or not we continue.

  2. 02

    Architecture & plan

A written technical plan with the trade-offs made explicit, a milestone schedule, and a fixed budget band for the first release.

  3. 03

    Build in the open

Two-week increments, a preview URL from day three, and a Slack channel where your team can see the work rather than wait for a demo.

  4. 04

    Launch & operate

Load testing, runbooks and monitoring before go-live, then a support window while your team takes the wheel — or a retainer if you would rather we kept it.

Projects rarely stay inside one service line. These are the ones that most often come along with it.

Brand & Graphic Design

Visual identity, campaign systems and production design built to survive being used by dozens of people across dozens of surfaces.

FAQ

UI/UX Design: the questions we get asked

If yours is not covered, ask it directly — the reply comes from whoever would lead the work.

With a paid first week. Two of us read your existing code and talk to whoever runs the system every day. You get a written plan: how we would build it, what the trade-offs are, the milestones and a price range. The plan is yours either way.

The same people you meet in the first week. We work in teams of three to five, all senior, and we do not pass your project to another group after the pitch. We use Figma, Style Dictionary, Storybook and the rest of the tools listed above every day. Nothing is subcontracted.

Most first releases take eight to sixteen weeks, depending on how much has to connect to other systems. We work in two-week blocks with a preview link from day three, so you can see real progress long before launch.

We add load testing, monitoring and written runbooks before you go live. After that you can take it in-house with a proper handover, which is what we plan for, or keep us on for support and further work.

Yes, from the first line. The work sits in your repository, under your account, on your servers. There is no Clownmind framework you have to keep paying for.
