Ecommerce & Web Development Company in India

Across the country the pattern is the same: UPI first, cash on delivery handled properly, and GST that survives an interstate order.

Working in India

India is not one market. Payment habits, delivery reliability and language expectations change as you move across it.

What stays the same is the shape of the problem. UPI leads, cash on delivery has to be handled properly, and GST has to be right the moment an order crosses a state line.

Who buys, and what that changes

Buyers range from a Delhi wholesaler to a Bengaluru app user. The one thing they share is a low tolerance for a slow site on a patchy connection.

Worth knowing in India. Build for a mid-range Android phone on a weak signal. If it works there, it works everywhere in the country.

Selling in India

A store that works in one country often fails in another, and it usually fails in the same few places. Here is what we build for before anything else.

How people pay
UPI is how most people pay. It should sit at the top of your checkout, not below cards. Cards still matter, and saved cards have to use network tokens because RBI does not allow you to store card numbers yourself.
Cash on delivery
Cash on delivery is still a big share of orders. It is not just a payment button. Returns cost you both legs of the courier fee, so we set order limits, check the pin code, and confirm larger orders before they ship.
Tax
GST changes with where you ship. Inside the same state it is CGST plus SGST. Ship to another state and it becomes IGST. The invoice has to say the right one, and above the turnover limit you also need e-invoicing.
Delivery
Delhivery, Blue Dart, Shiprocket and Xpressbees each deliver to a different set of pin codes. The site should check the pin code before someone reaches payment.
Language
Most work happens in Hindi and English. Written notes stay in English so your next developer can read them.

How we work with you from Delhi

We do not have an office in India. Standups happen in your hours, decisions get written down, and you get a preview link on day three.

Tell us about your India project

An engineer reads it and replies, usually within a working day.

No sales sequence. One reply from a senior engineer, usually within a working day.

India

Working with us from India

No. We work from one office in Delhi and everything for India runs remotely. You get at least four hours of overlap with your working day, standups in your hours, and a preview link from day three. We would rather say this plainly than list an address we do not sit in.

With a paid first week. Two of us read what you already have, talk to whoever runs it day to day, and write down what the build has to do. You keep that document either way. After that we work in two-week blocks.
